Help us plant native riparian shrubs to stabilize the estuary bank. All gear and training provided.
Clear microplastics and marine debris from the shoreline. Perfect for families and first-timers.
Wade into the tide flats to transplant native eelgrass beds. High boots or waders recommended.
Ready to get muddy?
Every hour spent on the shoreline directly protects Washington's wild coastal ecosystems. Sign up for an upcoming work party—no prior experience is required.
What to expect
Do I need my own waders or gear?
What happens if it rains?
No. We provide all necessary field gear, including high boots, heavy-duty work gloves, planting tools, and safety vests. Just wear warm layers and clothes you don't mind getting muddy.
We work rain or shine—the tide doesn't wait for blue skies. In the event of high winds or severe storms, we will email all registered volunteers at least three hours before start time.
Can children or families volunteer?
Do you accept group registrations?
Yes! Most of our shoreline cleanups are family-friendly. Estuary plantings can be physically demanding, so we recommend ages 12 and up for those specific events.
Absolutely. We host school groups, corporate teams, and community clubs. Please use our contact form or email us directly to coordinate a dedicated volunteer day for your group.
